“We get entrance for all the facilities, says the web page. For instance restrooms.” Architect
“So we can take the longest shit possible.” Stonemason
“Yeah.” Architect
“Then we’ll walk in. It’s a public right to walk in the 100-meters-zone along the coast.” Stonemason
“True.” Architect
We left the scooters outside the private tollbooth and walked till we could see the ocean.
“Seen it before.” Architect about the view.
“Can you take a picture of me.” Engineer.
“Sure.” The Architect snapped a picture of the engineer.
“Can you take a picture of me? Make sure to include the fence.” The Architect pointed at the fence to the programmer.
“Haha.” Programmer
“Perfect.” Architect looked the picture. As much fence as there is ocean on the picture. Proof that I’ve been to Nordkapp.
“The view from the road was better when we drove to Nordkapp.” Stonemason
“Yeah. The last 900 kilometers have been pretty spectacular.” Architect look the other way. “Shall we go back to the scooters?”
“Sure.” Stonemason
Our mission was complete. We travelled over 2500km on 50cc scooters. From Verdens Ende to Nordkapp. We bought a car on day 4 for the programmer, so he could continue to travel with us. The TBG-scooter broke down on day 6, on a Saturday night. Fortunately, we had the programmers scooter as a backup. The engineer traveled rest of the journey with the Piaggio.
The engineer and the programmer was already emptying the Piaggio-scooter for fuel. Making it safe to to load it into our support car. The engineer and the programmer travelled back to Alta with the car. While the architect and stonemason drove their Aprilias. In Alta, the programmer got in touch with TK Motor AS. Tor Kristensen and Marie were kind to store the scooters in their store till the scooters will get picked up by a truck. Which will drive them back to south of Norway in the coming months. A huge thanks to TK and Marie at TK Motor in Alta.
At Day 10 we will travel through the deep forest in Finland and Sweden before reaching south of Norway.
